Everyone must register their kart number. If your number has already been registered by another participant during the season, you may have to select an alternate number. No letters are allowed, unless an exception is requested from, and granted by, the series director. Number registration is good for the current racing season.
Each driver must register at the registration table, and draw a pill. In addition, each racer must bring one gallon of fuel with him/her to registration.
The minimum driver age to compete is 15 years old. If series director determines that a driver, regardless of age, would benefit from more experience, he/she may be required to start all races (heat and/or feature) at the rear until such time as the race director determines that the racer appears to be more consistent and confident with his/her machine. |

STAGING
Each track facility is different. As a result, the staging procedure for each event will be announced at each driver's meeting.
Unless specified differently at the drivers meeting, each racer will use his/her own fuel for practice and heat race (if applicable). For the feature, each racer must bring his/her kart to the grid empty (with all fuel drained out).
Once a racer's tank has been inspected by a race official, and approval granted, he/she may fill up the tank using any of the designated fuel jugs.
NOTE: For 2010, the SECKS Series has obtained a Digatron electronic fuel tester. If used at an event (instead of the jugs explained above), all competitors will use his/her own fuel for practice and races. At any time, a competitor may be subjected to fuel testing. Testing may occur after a heat race, or after the feature, and may include any kart, regardless of finishing position.
Once a karter has brought his/her champ kart to staging and has fueled, he/she is not allowed to take his/her champ kart back to his/her pit area for any reason. If a racer realizes that something needs to be done to his/her kart after it has been fueled, he/she must bring his/her tools to the grid area, and work on the kart there.
