Everyone must register their kart number. If your number has already been registered by another participant during the season, you may have to select an alternate number. No letters are allowed, unless an exception is requested from, and granted by, the series director. Number registration is good for the current racing season.

Each driver must register at the registration table, and draw a pill. In addition, each racer must bring one gallon of fuel with him/her to registration.

The minimum driver age to compete is 15 years old. If series director determines that a driver, regardless of age, would benefit from more experience, he/she may be required to start all races (heat and/or feature) at the rear until such time as the race director determines that the racer appears to be more consistent and confident with his/her machine.

POINTS

Points will be awarded as follows:
n= number of entries for an event

1st - 200 + n
2nd- 175 + n
3rd - 155 + n
4th - 140 + n
5th - 130 + n
6th - 120 + n
7th - 110 + n
8th - 100 + n
9th - 90 + n
10th - 80 + n

Each subsequent position (11th and lower) is scored at 5 points less than the preceding position.

All entered drivers, who are not dq'd at either the scale or tech, will receive at least a minimum number of points that correspond with the number of entries. (e.g. If 30 drivers enter, all entered drivers who are not dq'd at either the scale or tech would receive at least 30 points).

A driver who enters an event, but is unable to start the feature for any reason, will still be awarded entry points (equal to the number of entries).

If a driver is dq'd in tech for any reason, including refusal to participate in and/or to complete tech, he/she will be credited with a zero (see Welsh Plug note below). This "zero" will not be eligible to be used as a season drop.

Welsh Plug: The loss of a Welsh Plug during the feature will result in a disqualification. However, if this is the sole reason for the disqualification, the driver will be allowed to use that race as a season drop. NOTE - A driver must still present his/her kart in the tech area, even if he/she has lost the Welsh Plug. Only after the tech official has verified that the Welsh Plug is missing will the kart be released, and the droppable disqualification assessed. If a driver doesn't submit his/her kart to tech, and later claims it was due to a missing Welsh Plug, he/she will NOT be allowed to use that race as a drop.

If a driver is dq'd at the scale for being light, by more than five pounds under the minimum (e.g. weighs 404 or less), he/she will be credited with a zero. This "zero" will not be eligible to be used as a season drop.

If a driver is dq'd at the scale for being light, by five pounds or less under the minimum (e.g. weighs 405 or more), he/she will be credited with a zero. This "zero" will be eligible to be used as a season drop.

Rainout points will not be given, unless the race director determines that no options for reschedule exist.

Each series allows a pre-determined amount of drops. If you miss a race, you may use that towards your drop(s).
